I actually enjoyed Airboss for the most part, which only vaguely follows the plot summary on this site. More generally we have 2 FBI agents and 2 army lads paired together for a special troupe who will be taking on international terrorists. One of the reviews below suggests that this predicted 9/11 in a sense, but thats going a bit too far. The movie does deal with the Taliban, and its always interesting to hear of the group in pre-9/11 context, but obviously they didnt just pop up in 2001. Acting is pretty general, and the use of several languages, realistically, is admirable, and was the wise use of location and application of stock footage. Its average war stuff, with a little bit more smarts than most DTV of this nature, unfortunately the plot becomes so disjointed and the characters are so mired in an oddly-paced power play that after their first task is resolved, youre wondering what, exactly, the drive of the movie is supposed to be.
