Label: dB soundworks?

Don’t get me wrong, man, I love Baranowsky’s bleep bloop game sound, but maybe because this was only for an app, these tracks sound too derivative of his other work, or the songs function only as “clips,” fading out after establishing whatever would maybe be used as a loop.  They feel like snippets, or like the background tunes that they are, lacking the somehow thematic connection he built for games like Binding of Isaac or Meatboy, even though, sure, it’s all got a similar vibe.  Support the man, for god’s sake, but if you’re going to get one album or EP, maybe save this one for later.
