……………….3 Ninjas: High Noon at Mega Mountain……………….

2 gibbles out of 5

Director: Sean McNamara (apparently not the fictional character from Nip / Tuck)

So this is the last of the series, and apparently not so well liked by “fans” of the series, but I don’t get it. The dumb humor and innocence is back in place, and the martial arts are no more or less anything than what’s come before. The kids are in fairly good sync (although Tom-Tom’s eating habits have become first and last joke gags instead of part of the movie), plus it boasts Hulk Hogan, Jim Varney, and Loni Anderson, all character actors who add a dash of panache to the show. So in my opinion this bests the previous “Knuckle Up” (which, oddly, was apparently the second film actually shot in sequence). There’s a lot of balls-kicking, but otherwise this is okey-dokey put it in the player and walk away fare.
