It’s hard evaluating movies that are made with zero budget. Acting is never going to be that great, and if the Makers’ vision is larger than the constraints of the production, it ain’t gonna’ look too good. So movies of this nature have to be rated simply on… stamina, almost.
If you were some kind of a talent scout, looking to see if anyone involved with “1st Testament” had what it takes to move into the big leagues, what then? Alas, it still gets one star.
There’s some kind of hazy plot about CIA operatives who are tasked with killing one another, and how this ties into some kind of world-altering North/South-Korea unification, but apparently the CIA is run by about three or four people who all outrank each other and Korea is sort of, like, five minutes away from the US. In truth, the acting isn’t as bad as it could be – just emotionless – and, uh… Well, whatever. Nothing is inspired here. People got together to make a movie, but I’m not sure what their motivation was. And, as mentioned, if super-independent affairs like this are just meant to be rated off stamina alone, a lack of any sense of motivation doesn’t really help that rating.
