Truth in advertising.  These ten ditties offer much for fans of Geoff Soule’s previous releases – and for Fuck fans, most likely – plucking at the various elements of his supermegacorporation output.  In many hands, these kind of experimental, wandering fare might be a snooze or an indulgence, but Geoff has years of minimalist pop craft guiding his musings, which range from 30 second blips of aggressive sound to three+ minute jazzy wanderings, to electro / acoustic noodling.

Given how strong Geoff’s solo output is, it might seem disappointing to have waited for a followup that’s not more along those lines, but this disc, thanks to its wide range of sounds and considerate sequencing, stands on par with those efforts.
