Apparently these tracks are from the Fun Blame Monster recording session, which was when the band was still in its sort of experimental instrumental phase.  This plays out in the pretty subtle “Posh Isolation” track, which I had to turn up pretty loud and listen to a couple times to get anything out of.  Things pick up on Tung Track, and give a good indication of the poppier direction in which the band would go.  2-track singles are hard to rate, and neither one of these songs would catch my ear at the Menomena club or anything, but it’s good padding to their catalogue, and a brief little capture of two sides of their personality.
