5 out of 5
A packed 3-page mini from Ryan Alves which I hope is adopted as religious text going forward.
To spoil things aggressively, though, this is the origin of Easter – the version of Easter that’s born from an egg birthed by resurrected pregnant Jesus.
Told in three six-panel pages of black and white and a single gray tone, Alves stuffs a hilarious amount of creation lore into this thing, starting with dinosaurs and ending with the titular holiday. The art’s loose but clear (and with well-chosen details), and the thing maintains a hilariously steady hand on tone throughout.
