Titan Comics 2016 July – Dec Preview – Ricky Claydon

5 out of 5

A perfect preview.  A foreword from Direct Sales Manager Ricky Claydon sets the stage and gives the preview a very welcoming feel (i.e. not just a sales pitch); the listings are vaguely alphabetical or, when not, grouped accordingly; there’s a sizeable amount of new material deserving of a new preview.

The format has remained pretty standard for the past few editions of these, with a representative comic cover and summary blurb on top, and preview pages on the bottom.  The balance between “buy this book!” blurbs and actually giving us an idea what the book might be about has been perfected – every page gave me a sense of whether or not I might want to check it out.

Nothing to criticize this time, so not much to say except that the upcoming lineup – continuations (finally) of Masked, World War X, and Chimera Brigade plus Hard Case Crime comics equals a ton for me to get excited about.
