Like the other Bongo title, Simpsons, the Spongebob FCBD is packed to the brim, inside cover to back cover, with content, varying in style.  And like the Simpsons, it lacks anything to differentiate itself from a monthly book, hence the lack of star.  …Which similarly means that this is a perfect representation of the monthly book.  In fact, the week after reading this FCBD, I picked up my first Spongebob monthly comic in the shop and was very pleased to find that I enjoyed it just as much as this FCBD entry.  …Which means unsimilarly to the Simpsons, I find the content here legitimately funny, plus you get awesome people like Tony Millionaire and Jim Woodring involved, with Graham Annable running the show.  Great production, greater than great value, and maybe you’re like me and have been turned off by the show’s voice acting / animation but find the humor amusing… Then, well, maybe this FCBD will also help you discover that the comic is a good way to get exposure to the Spongebob world.
