BLAME! vol. 3 (Master Edition) – Tsutomu Nihei

5 out of 5

Alright, enough complaints about the price; by now, if you’re buying volume 3, you’re committed, so you’ve accepted the price tag.

Gathering up through Log 30, the chapters of Blame! contained herein are where Nihei started to fully fly his hard sci-fi flag, including time warps and pseudo-science with gravity and reality disruptions, and it’s glorious.  It’s gloriously confusing, with Killy !-ing at everything and, like, alternate time duplicates showing up and dying at the hands of brutal and gigantic ‘silicon life.’

God bless this story.
