I mean, this is what you need, right? You can track down individual releases as a collector, or have been buying them as a super-cool kid at the time, and it’s still nice to have those, but for any artist: give me a collection of those EPs or singles. Give me a one-stop shop. Yeah, I could criticize Trilogy for not giving us anything beyond convenience for EP I, II, and III, but at the same time, we get new artwork, a really solidly constructed digipack with an embossed cover, oooh, and even newer (better…) CD artwork that syncs with that packaging. So, like, not skimping on the presentation. And if there are no extras, it’s also not missing anything in terms of content (liner notes, etc.), so… yeah. Assuming you grabbed this at a release price and not after market, and further assuming you’re good with just a physical copy and not needing to collect originals… this is the way to go. A brilliant collection of CB’s recorded explosion into the scene.
