Slowburn and assaultive noise from AC.

The title track A-side on this is perfection: a hiss of noise and distorted drums; lo-fi screaming and distant guitars. It listens like a full-on song while fulfilling the AC duty of being caustic and chaotic.

B-side Frustrating Ice Princess is a more all-out rocker (albeit at 11, again with indecipherable shouting and a clipped recording), but I think these are the types of tunes that work better on a full-length. It’s a good dose of what Air Conditioning does, but on a 7″, tracks need either a bit of over overdrive, or some structure like Catneck. This one is great, it just comes and goes.

Amazing picture disc artwork on this, though; definitely a fun bit of “what am I looking at?” scrutiny whenever I take it out to play.
